Amanda R. Kison
Amanda R. Kison has been practicing law in Sarasota for more than a decade. She concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation involving business and real estate disputes and handles both trial and civil proceedings. She is Board Certified in Business Litigation, identifying her as a lawyer with special knowledge, skills and expertise in business litigation. She has been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America by Best Lawyers, Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine, a Florida Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine, as an “Elite Top Attorney” by SRQ Magazine, and maintains an AV-rating with Martindale Hubbell.
Ms. Kison currently serves on the executive council the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and as a board member of the Southwest Chapter of the American Red Cross. She is a past president of the Sarasota County Bar Association, past chair of the 12th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, and a past member of the executive committee for the Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court.
Ms. Kison received her undergraduate degree from Skidmore College and her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Florida State Courts and the Middle District of Florida.
