Katlyn N. Craig

Ms. Craig concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, involving business and real estate disputes.  She is a member of the Florida Bar.

Ms. Craig received her undergraduate degree from Christopher Newport University in 2013.  She majored in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish.  Ms. Craig received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2017, where she served on the Board for the Public Interest Law Association, and worked in the Veteran’s Legal Clinic.  During law school, Ms. Craig worked as a Law Clerk and Summer Associate at an Atlanta law firm specializing in employment and licensing disputes arising from critical incidents involving first responders.

Before joining Bentley Goodrich Kison, Ms. Craig was a family law litigation attorney in the Twelfth and Twentieth judicial circuits.  Ms. Craig also served as a Victims Rights Attorney for Legal Services of North Florida, providing free legal services to victims of domestic violence by litigating domestic violence injunctions in the First Judicial Circuit.  She is a certified Level One Investigator through the Association of Title IX Administrators, and is an experienced Title IX Attorney.

Ms. Craig is actively involved in the Sarasota County Bar Association and volunteers as a women’s self-defense instructor.  In her free time, Ms. Craig puts her risk management and analysis skills to good use as a semi-professional poker player and certified poker dealer.  Ms. Craig can rarely be found outside of the office without her faithful, furry companion Arlo.  She enjoys sporting events, lazy beach days, country dancing, and is a self-proclaimed amateur chef.
