Brian D. Goodrich
Brian D. Goodrich is an experienced litigator concentrating his practice in the area of commercial litigation involving business and real estate disputes as well as trust and estate litigation and general civil litigation.
Mr. Goodrich received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Florida in 2010. Mr. Goodrich received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2013. In law school, Mr. Goodrich was a Certified Legal Intern with the Gator Team Child Juvenile Law Clinic, where he provided free legal services to children in both delinquency and dependency matters. Mr. Goodrich also served as a teaching assistant for Trial Practice.
Mr. Goodrich is actively involved in the community. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Safe Children Coalition, a non-profit Community-Based Care provider of education, prevention, diversion, and child welfare services including adoption and foster care. Mr. Goodrich also serves on the Safe Children Coalition Foundation Board of Directors.
Mr. Goodrich has also served as Past President of the Sarasota County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and as Secretary of the Sarasota County Gator Club in addition to volunteering with Teen Court and the Florida Bar’s Mentorship Program.

- Prevailed in commercial arbitration regarding a domain name auction.
- Obtained final summary judgment on behalf of Defendant in action by an alleged third-party beneficiary to enforce a Marital Settlement Agreement, with result affirmed on appeal.
- Successfully rescinded four deeds for properties which had been fraudulently transferred twice since owned by client after two-day bench trial.
- Obtained temporary injunction on behalf of fitness studio client after former employee’s breach of non-compete and non-solicitation agreement.
- Successfully argued in front of Second DCA in injunctive relief case involving oral surgeons.
- Obtained a judgment in an airplane negligence case on behalf of Plaintiff in excess of $450,000.00 after two-day bench trial.
- Successfully represented clients in Department of Business and Professional Regulation administrative proceedings and proceedings before the Florida Commission on Human Relations.
