Kaylin Humerickhouse
Ms. Humerickhouse concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation, involving business and real estate disputes. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
Ms. Humerickhouse received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University, where she graduated summa cum laude. She majored in English, with minors in Spanish and Professional Writing. Ms. Humerickhouse earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she served on Law Review and graduated with honors.
Prior to joining Bentley Goodrich Kison, Ms. Humerickhouse was an Assistant State Attorney in Sarasota and Manatee for almost nine years. During her tenure there, she handled hundreds of cases and had dozens of jury trials. The last four years at the State Attorney’s Office, she was a dedicated Violent Felony Prosecutor, handling Sarasota’s most serious and complex criminal cases.
Ms. Humerickhouse is a proud Florida native and was born in Manatee County. She is active in the Sarasota County Bar Association and the Judge John M. Scheb Inn of Court. When she is not practicing law, she can be found gardening, swimming, reading, and spending time with her two badly behaved dogs.
